Mobile App Development for Singapore Businesses
We design and build Android and iOS apps for Singapore companies: customer apps for bookings, loyalty and ordering, field apps for staff, and companion apps for platforms you already run.
Development happens in India. You test real builds on your own phones throughout the project, and the finished app is published under your company's developer accounts.
Describe your app idea
Who will use it, what should they be able to do, and is there a system it must connect to?
Apps worth building, and apps that should stay websites
An app earns its place when people use it repeatedly: booking classes, reordering supplies, checking a loyalty balance, or recording jobs in the field. For a one-off visit, a fast mobile website is usually cheaper and easier for customers to find.
We say this at the start because an app has ongoing costs beyond the build: annual developer-program fees, updates for new iOS and Android versions, and store review each time you release. If a responsive website would serve your customers just as well, we will tell you.
Flutter or native: how we choose
We build cross-platform apps in Flutter and native apps in Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android). Each suits different projects.
| Factor | Flutter (one codebase) | Native Swift and Kotlin |
|---|---|---|
| Platforms | Android and iOS from one codebase | Separate apps, each built for its platform |
| Cost and time | Usually lower: most code is shared | Higher: two codebases to build and maintain |
| Device features | Covers common features through plugins | Full, immediate access to platform features |
| Good fit | Booking, ordering, loyalty and business apps | Heavy graphics, AR or deep hardware integration |
Capabilities we commonly add to apps
Accounts and secure login
Email, phone or social login, with the option of Singpass login once your organisation is onboarded with GovTech.
Payments in the app
Card and wallet payments through a gateway that supports in-app checkout.
Push notifications
Order updates and reminders, sent only to users who opt in.
Maps and location
Store finders, delivery tracking or check-ins for field staff.
Offline use
Field apps that save work without a signal and sync later.
Admin dashboard
A web panel for your staff to manage content, users and orders.
From idea to the App Store and Google Play
Requirement discovery
Goals, target users, must-have features and the systems the app must talk to.
UX planning and wireframes
User journeys and screen layouts you can tap through before visual design.
Development in sprints
Features delivered in short cycles to test builds installed on your phones.
Testing and quality assurance
Functional, performance and usability checks on a range of real and emulated devices, including Appium automation where it pays off.
Store submission
Listings, screenshots and privacy details prepared and submitted for Apple and Google review under your accounts.
Updates and support
Fixes, operating-system updates and new features after launch, as agreed.
Accounts, ownership and privacy for your app
Your app should be published under your company's own Apple Developer Program and Google Play Console accounts, not ours. Both Apple and Google ask organisations for a D-U-N-S number when they enrol, which can take some time to obtain, so it is worth starting early.
Apps often collect personal data such as names, phone numbers and location. Under Singapore's PDPA your organisation remains responsible for that data, and both app stores require an accurate privacy policy and data-safety disclosures. We implement consent screens and data handling to match what your policy says, and we keep test data separate from real customer data.
At handover you receive the source code repository, signing keys and credentials, build instructions and the admin panel, so any competent developer can continue the work.
Checking who builds your app
Apps live on your customers' phones under your brand, so the developer behind them matters. Appeonix Creative Lab is registered in India under the Udyam scheme as a micro enterprise and holds an Ontario business name registration. Here are the details.
How app projects are scoped and billed
For an app, the proposal lists the screens and features for each platform, the devices and operating-system versions we test on, the store-submission work included and how post-launch support is charged.

Mobile app questions from Singapore businesses
How long does it take to publish an app?
Building takes most of the time; store review is usually quick but not guaranteed, and either store can ask for changes. Allow time before any launch date you announce, and start developer-account enrolment early.
Can you add Singpass login to our app?
Singpass login for private-sector apps requires your organisation to be onboarded through GovTech's process. Once your organisation is approved and has its credentials, we can integrate the login flow.
Can you take over an app another developer built?
Yes, if you can give us the source code, store accounts and signing credentials. We review the code first and report what needs fixing before we commit to new features.
Will the app work on older phones?
We agree a minimum Android and iOS version in the proposal, based on your audience, and test on devices that cover that range.
What does an app cost to keep running?
Expect annual developer-program fees, hosting for the back end and admin panel, and periodic updates for new OS versions. We list these costs in the proposal so there are no surprises.
