UI/UX & product interface design

UI/UX Design for Singapore Websites, Apps and Software

Good interface design is the difference between a product people use and one they abandon after the first try. We design user journeys, screens and interactive prototypes for websites, mobile apps and business software used in Singapore.

Our designers work remotely from India and share every stage through clickable prototypes you can test with colleagues and customers.

Start a design brief

Is this a new product or an existing one that people struggle with? Tell us which.

Design work we deliver

User research summary

What your users are trying to do, gathered from interviews, support tickets and analytics you share.

User journeys and flows

Step-by-step paths for key tasks, showing where users decide, wait or drop out.

Wireframes

Low-detail layouts that settle structure and content before visual styling.

Clickable prototypes

Interactive mock-ups for review and usability testing, without writing code.

Visual interface design

Final screens in your brand for desktop, tablet and mobile.

Design system and handover

Reusable components, spacing and colour rules, and annotated specs for developers.

Designing for Singapore's users

A Singapore audience is multilingual and mobile-first, and a design that ignores that shows quickly.

Several languages in one layout

If your product will appear in English and Chinese, Malay or Tamil, the layout has to cope with different text lengths and scripts. Tamil labels often run longer than English, and Chinese text needs different line heights. We design components with room for that from the start, instead of patching screens after translation.

Accessible by default

We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA: sufficient colour contrast, readable type sizes, clear focus states and form labels that screen readers can announce. This helps older users and anyone on a small screen in bright light, not only people with disabilities.

Fewer taps on the phone

Most of your users will meet the product on a phone first. We design the mobile journey before the desktop one and remove steps that exist only because of how the old system worked.

A typical UI/UX engagement

Understand the problem

Stakeholder interviews and a review of analytics, support requests and competitor products.

Map the journeys

Agree the key user tasks and the ideal flow for each one.

Wireframe and prototype

Build a clickable prototype of the main flows and review it with you.

Test with real users

Short remote sessions in which a handful of your users try the prototype while we observe; you help us recruit them.

Visual design

Apply your brand to the tested flows and produce final screens for each breakpoint.

Developer handover

A component library, specifications and assets, with design reviews during the build.

Choosing the right design engagement

UX audit of an existing product

  • Expert review of your live app or site against usability principles
  • A prioritised list of problems with suggested fixes
  • Useful before a redesign, or when conversions fall

Full design for a new product

  • Research, journeys, prototype and tested visual design
  • A design system your developers can build from
  • Best before any development budget is committed

The studio behind your designs

Your designs will be produced by Appeonix Creative Lab, a micro enterprise registered in India under Udyam that also holds an Ontario business name registration. The design files and prototypes we create for you are handed over at the end of the engagement.

Scoping a design project

For design work, the proposal names the screens or flows to be designed, the number of revision rounds at each stage, whether user testing is included and the format of the final handover files.

Questions about our UI/UX design process

Can you design screens that another company will build?

Yes. We hand over annotated designs, a component library and assets, and can join review calls with your developers to answer questions during the build.

How many users do we need for usability testing?

A small round of five or so participants per user group typically surfaces the most serious problems. It is better to run several small rounds as the design evolves than one large study at the end.

Do we own the design files?

Yes. The editable design files, prototypes and exported assets are handed over to you at the end of the engagement, as set out in the proposal.

Can you redesign just part of our app?

Yes. A common starting point is the journey with the most drop-offs, such as sign-up or checkout. We redesign that flow within your existing visual style so it can ship quickly.

Do you write the interface text as well?

We write interface copy such as buttons, labels, error messages and empty states, because wording is part of usability. Marketing copy and translations can be added to the scope.

Is your product harder to use than it should be?

Send us a link or a description of where users get stuck. We will suggest whether an audit or a full design project makes more sense.
