UI/UX Design for Apps and SaaS from Indiranagar, Bengaluru

Plenty of Bengaluru products are designed in a hurry. A founder sketches a few screens, a developer fills the gaps, and only after launch does anyone notice that sign-up takes six steps or that the main action is hidden behind a menu. Fixing this after the build costs far more than settling it in design.

Appeonix Creative Lab has an office in Indiranagar, and you can meet us there by appointment. We design user flows, wireframes, clickable prototypes and final screens for web apps, SaaS dashboards and mobile apps. Our own developers can then build what we design, so nothing gets lost between the design file and the shipped product. The whole team is in India on IST, the same working hours as you.

Tell us about the product you need designed

Is this a new product, a redesign, or an app users find hard to use? Tell us which platforms it runs on and whether you already have developers.

Product design deliverables from our Indiranagar team

Most projects need only some of these. We agree which ones at the start, based on how far along your product is.

User research and goals

Short interviews with your users and a review of the analytics, support messages and sales feedback you share, written up as the tasks people are actually trying to complete.

User flows

Diagrams of each key journey, such as onboarding, payment or booking, showing every screen, decision and error state before any visual design begins.

Wireframes

Plain greyscale layouts that fix hierarchy, content and navigation. Changing a wireframe is quick, while changing a coded screen is not.

Clickable prototypes

Linked screens you can tap through on a phone or laptop, then show to investors, colleagues or a few real users before development starts.

Responsive web and app screens

Final visual design for web apps and dashboards at desktop, tablet and mobile widths, and for Android and iOS apps built with Flutter, Swift or Kotlin.

Design system

Reusable buttons, inputs, cards, colours, type and spacing rules, so new features look consistent without being designed from scratch.

Usability review

An expert walk-through of your live product, with a ranked list of problems and suggested changes, each marked by how hard it is to build.

Designing for the way Bengaluru users use apps

Your users might be engineers in Whitefield, shop owners in Chickpet or delivery staff working across the city. Who they are matters more than the screen size, and we design around the people who will actually use the product rather than around a generic template.

Kannada and English in the same interface

Plenty of consumer and field-staff apps in Karnataka need Kannada as well as English. Kannada script needs more line height than Latin text, and a label can change length a lot between the two languages. So we size buttons, tabs and table columns to fit both. We also test layouts with real Kannada strings instead of placeholder text. The translation itself should come from you or a fluent reviewer you trust, and we agree in the proposal who provides it.

Phones first, and unreliable connections

For many products the phone is the main device, used on the move. We design the mobile journey first and keep important actions within reach of a thumb. Loading, offline and retry states get designed as well, because a blank screen on a slow connection looks like a broken app.

Accessibility basics from the first wireframe

We follow the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA as a working reference. That means enough colour contrast, readable text sizes, visible focus states, labelled form fields and tap targets that are not too small. These choices cost little at the design stage and are expensive to add after launch.

How a UI/UX project runs from our Indiranagar office

Kick-off meeting

In person at Indiranagar by appointment, or on a video call. We go through your users, business goals, constraints and any screens or code you already have.

Research and flows

We review the evidence you share and talk to a few users where possible, then map the key journeys and agree them with you in writing.

Wireframes and prototype

Structure comes first, then a clickable prototype of the main flows that you review with your team before any visual styling.

Testing with users

Short sessions where a handful of your users try the prototype while we watch. You help us recruit them, and we change the flows based on what we see.

Visual design and design system

Your brand is applied to the tested flows, and the components are collected into a design system for every screen and breakpoint.

Handoff and build support

Annotated screens, assets and component specs go to our developers or yours, and we keep reviewing screens while they are being built.

Choosing a design engagement for your Bengaluru product

Effort for every option is estimated from our published hourly and monthly rate card, and the proposal lists the screens and revision rounds included.

EngagementSuitsWhat you receive
Usability reviewA live app or SaaS where users drop off or raise the same support questionsA written list of problems ranked by impact, with suggested fixes

Why designers and developers working together saves rework

Design-only agencies often hand over a polished file and step away. The developers then guess at spacing, invent their own error messages and skip states nobody designed. In our case the same company does both. Our developers work in Flutter, Swift, Kotlin, React, Next.js, Laravel and Node.js, and they join design reviews before the screens are signed off.

This catches problems early. One example is a layout that would need a custom component in Flutter when a standard one would work just as well. Another is a dashboard table that cannot load quickly with the data your API returns. If you already have developers, we work the same way with them: they join reviews, ask questions about the specs and send build screenshots back for us to check.

Illustrative Business Scenario: an onboarding redesign for a Bengaluru B2B SaaS

This is an illustrative example, not a client result. A fictional Bengaluru start-up sells scheduling software to clinics. Trial sign-ups are steady, but few clinics finish setting up their account, and the support inbox keeps getting the same question about adding doctors.

A usability review finds that setup asks for billing details before the clinic has seen any value, and that the screen for adding doctors is buried in settings. We map a new onboarding flow that puts adding the first doctor and the first appointment up front. We prototype it and have a few clinic receptionists try it. Our developers then build the revised screens in the existing React web app. Afterwards the founders compare completed setups before and after the change in their own analytics.

Commitments our UI/UX team in Bengaluru keeps

We will

  • Show work as clickable prototypes, not just static images
  • Design empty, loading, error and offline states alongside the main screens
  • Hand over editable design files and assets as set out in the proposal
  • Tell you when a simpler pattern would do the job as well as a custom one

We will not

  • Claim certifications, awards or partner badges we do not hold
  • Copy a competitor's interface wholesale
  • Promise particular conversion or retention figures from a redesign
  • Skip user testing on core flows without agreeing it with you first

Indiranagar office, Thrissur head office and who designs your product

Appeonix Creative Lab is a micro enterprise (services) registered under Udyam in Thrissur, Kerala (UDYAM-KL-13-0116371, registered 10 September 2014). Our head office is in Kovilakampadam, Thrissur, and we have a second office in Indiranagar, Bengaluru. We do not publish a street address for Indiranagar, so meetings there are by appointment, and we share the location once a time is confirmed.

Design and development work may be shared between the Indiranagar office and the Thrissur team. Everyone works in India on IST, so there is no time difference. We also hold an Ontario business name registration. At the start of every project we tell you who is working on it.

UI/UX questions from Bengaluru founders and product owners

Can the team that designs our screens also build the product?

Yes. Our in-house developers work in Flutter, Swift, Kotlin, React, Next.js, Laravel and Node.js. You can hire us for design only, or for design followed by development, and the developers join design reviews either way.

Should our app be designed in Kannada as well as English?

It depends on who uses it. Consumer and field-staff apps in Karnataka often benefit from Kannada, while many B2B dashboards are used only in English. If Kannada is likely, even later, we design layouts that fit both scripts from the start.

Is a usability review worth doing before a full redesign?

Often, yes. A review shows whether your problems sit in a few flows or across the whole product. Many products need one or two journeys redesigned, not a complete overhaul.

Can we meet the designers at your Indiranagar office?

Yes, by appointment. We do not publish the street address, so we share it once a meeting time is confirmed. Video calls work just as well for reviews, since everyone is on IST.

What should we prepare before the first design meeting?

A short description of your users and goals, any existing screens or sketches, access to analytics if the product is live, and a list of what your developers can and cannot build. A rough budget range also helps us suggest the right engagement.

Planning a new app or SaaS product in Bengaluru?

Tell us what the product does and who will use it. We will suggest whether to start with a usability review, a design-only project or design and build, and we can meet you at our Indiranagar office.
