Mobile App Development Company in Indiranagar, Bengaluru

Appeonix Creative Lab has an office in Indiranagar, so Bengaluru founders and small businesses can talk through an app idea face to face before committing to a build. We develop Android and iPhone apps in Flutter, Swift and Kotlin, along with the backend and admin panel the app needs to run.

Design and development are shared between the Indiranagar office and our head office in Thrissur, Kerala. Both teams work on Indian Standard Time, so you get replies during your working day, not overnight.

Tell us what your app needs to do

Describe your users, the main task the app should handle, and whether you need Android, iPhone or both. Mention if you would like to meet at our Indiranagar office.

An app developer with a real office in Indiranagar

Plenty of agencies list a Bengaluru locality on their website without having anyone there. Our Indiranagar office is a working office. We do not publish a street address, so meetings are arranged by appointment once you get in touch. Workshops on scope, wireframe reviews and pre-release demos can happen there in person, and everything else runs on calls and shared documents.

How the Indiranagar and Thrissur teams split the work

Appeonix has worked from Thrissur, Kerala since 2014, and that is still where most of our design, development and testing happens. The Bengaluru office is your local point of contact. For any project, you will know which people are building your app and who to contact for decisions, whichever city they work from.

Same time zone, so fewer gaps

Both offices work on IST, so a question raised in a morning stand-up can usually be answered the same day. Founders often find that useful in the weeks before launch, when store review feedback and last-minute fixes arrive quickly.

Mobile apps we build for Bengaluru founders and SMEs

Most requests fit one of these patterns. Each comes with a backend and an admin panel, which are scoped together with the app.

Customer-facing service apps

Bookings, appointments, orders and account management for service businesses. Includes login, notifications and a dashboard where your staff manage requests.

Field and operations apps

Internal Android apps for teams on the road: job lists, photo capture, location check-ins and offline entry that syncs when the signal comes back.

Startup MVPs

A first version built for testing an idea with real users. It is kept narrow on purpose, so it can be changed after the first round of feedback without rebuilding everything.

Companion apps for existing websites

Apps that use the same data as a Laravel or Node.js web system or a WordPress-based store, so customers can do on mobile what they already do on the website.

Flutter, Swift or Kotlin for a Bengaluru app project

Which technology is right depends on your users and your budget, not on what is fashionable. Here is how we usually explain the trade-offs.

ApproachSuitsTrade-offs to weigh
Flutter (one codebase for Android and iPhone)MVPs and business apps that need both platforms on a limited budgetVery new platform features can take longer to reach Flutter, and some device-specific features need native code
Kotlin (native Android)Apps whose users are mostly on Android, field-team apps, and apps that need close hardware accessCovers Android only, so iPhone users need a separate build later
Swift (native iOS)Products aimed at iPhone users, or apps that depend heavily on Apple-specific featuresCovers iPhone only, and Apple's review process adds time to every release
Kotlin and Swift togetherProducts where each platform needs to feel fully native and long-term budgets allow itYou pay for and maintain two codebases, so every feature is built twice

From first Indiranagar meeting to app store release

Scoping conversation

In person at Indiranagar or on a call, we go through who the users are, the one job the first version must do well, and what can wait for later.

Written scope and estimate

You get a document listing screens, backend functions, admin features and exclusions, priced in line with our published rate card.

Interface design

Clickable wireframes and screen designs that you can try on your own phone before any code is written.

Staged development

We build in stages and share a test build at the end of each one, so you can review a working app as it grows.

Testing on real devices

Testing on both budget and current Android phones and on iPhones, on slow connections, and across the complete sign-up and payment flows.

Store submission and handover

We publish to Google Play and the App Store under your own developer accounts, then hand over the source code and credentials.

Indian requirements to plan into a Bengaluru app

If an app is designed for users in India, some decisions belong at the start of the project, not halfway through.

Personal data and consent

Any app that collects names, phone numbers, locations or photos handles personal data. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 sets out how that data should be collected and handled. We design consent screens, data deletion and minimal data collection into the app. For a legal view on your specific obligations, your own adviser should review it.

Payments people expect

Indian users expect UPI as well as cards. We connect the payment gateway you choose, and keep payment confirmation on the server side so an order is not marked as paid just because the app says so.

Devices, networks and language

Your users may own budget Android phones with little storage and use the app on patchy mobile data. We keep downloads small, cache key screens and handle failed requests cleanly. If your customers prefer Kannada, the app can be set up with Kannada and English from the start rather than retrofitted later.

Preparing to hire an app developer in Bengaluru

Bring to the first conversation

  • A short description of your users and the main problem the app solves
  • Any existing website, system or spreadsheet the app will need to connect to
  • Whether your users are mainly on Android, iPhone or both
  • Your launch date and any fixed event it is tied to

Ask any developer you compare

  • Who owns the source code and the store accounts once the app is live
  • Which items are excluded from the estimate
  • How bug fixes after launch are handled and charged
  • Who you will actually speak to while the work is under way

Who builds your app: Appeonix in Indiranagar and Thrissur

Appeonix Creative Lab is an Indian micro enterprise registered under Udyam in Thrissur, Kerala, in 2014. Its head office is in Thrissur and it has a second office in Indiranagar, Bengaluru. Your contract, invoices and code handover all come from this one company. We do not show client logos or ratings on this page. If you want to check our work, ask us during the scoping conversation and we will walk you through it.

Questions Indiranagar founders ask about app projects

Can we meet your team in person in Indiranagar?

Yes. Get in touch first and we will arrange a time at the Indiranagar office. We do not publish a street address, so we share the location when the meeting is confirmed.

Is the whole app built in Bengaluru?

Not necessarily. The work is shared between Indiranagar and our Thrissur head office, where much of the development and testing happens. We tell you at the start who is working on your project.

Should our first release be on Android only?

Often it makes sense, especially for field teams and apps aimed at a wide Indian audience. If you might add iPhone later, building in Flutter keeps that option open without a second codebase.

How is the cost of an app worked out?

We estimate it from the agreed screens, backend functions and admin features, using our published rate card. The written scope lists exclusions, so you can see what is not in the price.

Will the app be listed under our own company name in the stores?

Yes. We publish to Google Play and the App Store using developer accounts registered to your business. You keep the source code and credentials, and there are no ranking guarantees for store search.

Planning an app for your Bengaluru business?

Tell us who will use it and what it needs to do. We will suggest a sensible first version and the stack that suits it, and we can meet at our Indiranagar office if you prefer to talk in person.
