Facebook and Instagram Ad Management in London, Ontario

People in London, Ontario rarely open Facebook or Instagram to find a plumber, a dentist or a new place to eat. Ads on Meta reach them while they are scrolling for other reasons. So the work is about getting attention, offering something clear and making it easy to respond, whether that means a call, a booking, a lead form or a visit.

Appeonix Creative Lab runs Meta campaigns for London businesses from our team in India, 9.5 to 10.5 hours ahead of Ontario. We set up tracking you can trust, write lead forms that respect Canadian anti-spam rules and send you a monthly report in plain English. We do not promise a return on ad spend.

Meta advertising work for London, Ontario businesses

Few accounts need everything on this list at once. We start with whatever is holding results back.

Account and Business Manager clean-up

Ad accounts, pages, Instagram profiles and payment methods sorted out under your business's ownership, with staff and agency access set at the right level.

Meta Pixel and Conversions API

Browser and server-side events for form submissions, bookings and purchases, checked so that each conversion is counted once.

Instant lead forms

Short forms with questions that sort serious enquiries from casual ones, plus consent wording written with CASL in mind.

Local audience planning

Radius and city targeting around London and nearby towns, adjusted to how far your customers will actually travel or how far your vans go.

Ad creative

Static images, short vertical videos and carousels sized for Feed, Stories and Reels, using your own photos wherever possible.

Landing-page fixes

Faster mobile pages, a visible phone number and forms that work on small screens. We make the fixes ourselves or write them up for your developer.

Monthly reporting

Spend, leads, cost per lead and what happened to those leads, alongside the changes we made and why.

Targeting customers in London, Middlesex County and nearby towns

Meta targets people by where they live or were recently, so the radius you choose matters a great deal. A café in Wortley Village may only want people within a few kilometres. A landscaping firm based in Komoka might cover west London, Strathroy and Ilderton. A home renovation company could reasonably reach St. Thomas, Lucan, Dorchester and Thorndale as well as the city itself.

Interests are a starting point, not a guarantee

Meta's interest categories are broad estimates. For most local businesses we test a wide local audience against one or two interest-based audiences and let the results decide. We do not assume that a narrower audience means better leads.

Retargeting people who already know you

People who visited your website, watched your videos or engaged with your Instagram can be shown follow-up ads, such as a reminder of a seasonal offer or a booking prompt. These audiences rely on working tracking, which is why tracking comes first.

Meta Pixel and Conversions API set-up for London websites

Browser privacy settings and ad blockers stop many Pixel events from reaching Meta. The Conversions API fills that gap by sending the same events from your website's server. If both are running without deduplication, Meta counts each lead twice and spends towards a result that never happened.

On WordPress-based sites, Magento stores and custom Laravel or Node.js builds, we connect both methods, give each event a shared ID so Meta can match duplicates, and test with real form submissions or test orders before any budget goes live. Events are limited to what the campaign needs. We do not send the contents of your enquiry forms to Meta.

Lead forms and CASL consent wording for Ontario enquiries

Meta's instant forms let people send their details without leaving Facebook or Instagram. That convenience creates a compliance question. Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) requires consent before most commercial electronic messages are sent, and the business sending them has to be able to prove that consent.

So we keep two things separate. Replying to the enquiry someone just made is expected. Adding them to a newsletter or a promotional text sequence needs its own optional checkbox, worded clearly and never ticked in advance. Each form also links to your privacy policy and says who will contact the person and how.

This is practical set-up guidance, not legal advice. If you work in a regulated field, or want to reuse leads in unusual ways, check the wording with your own adviser.

Special ad category rules for housing, hiring and finance ads in Ontario

Meta requires advertisers who target Canada to declare a special ad category for certain ads, and the category changes which targeting options are available. We check Meta's current rules at set-up because they change.

Ad typeCategory to declareWhat changes
Rental units, property sales, home financing offersHousingAge and gender cannot be narrowed, some detailed targeting is removed and location targeting is restricted
Job vacancies and recruitment campaignsEmploymentThe same targeting limits apply, so ad copy and creative have to qualify applicants
Loans, credit, insurance and other financial offersFinancial products and servicesThe same targeting limits apply, and ads that are not declared can be rejected

Launching Facebook and Instagram campaigns for a London business

Agree goals and lead quality

On a video call, usually early morning in Ontario, we cover what a good enquiry looks like, how many your team can handle and what a customer is worth to you.

Confirm ownership and access

Your ad account, page and Instagram profile stay in your business's name, and Meta bills ad spend directly to your payment method. We ask for partner access only.

Fix tracking before spending

We set up the Pixel and the Conversions API and test them with real actions.

Build creative and audiences

We write two or three ad angles for each offer, each with its own image or video, and test them against the local audiences we agreed.

Launch on a modest budget

We watch the first weeks closely, pause weak ads and move budget towards the ads that bring real enquiries.

Review every month

You get a report and we agree next steps. Our management effort is estimated from the published rate card.

Running your Meta ads from India, overnight in Ontario

Our team works in India, 9.5 hours ahead of Ontario in summer and 10.5 hours ahead in winter. New ads, budget changes and audience edits are usually made while London sleeps, so they are live by morning. Calls happen early in your day, which is evening for us.

The trade-off is that your afternoon is our night. Comments on ads and messages from potential customers need someone at your business to answer them during the day. We set spending limits so that a campaign cannot overspend before we see it, and we show your staff how to pause an ad from the Meta Ads Manager app.

Illustrative Business Scenario: a family restaurant in east London

This is an illustrative example, not a client result. A fictional family restaurant near Old East Village boosts Instagram posts now and then, with no tracking and an audience covering all of Ontario. Comments come in from people hours away, and nobody knows whether the boosts fill any tables.

The first changes would be to swap boosted posts for a proper campaign, limit delivery to a short drive from the restaurant and add a booking event to the Pixel and Conversions API. Separate ads for weekday lunch and weekend family dinners, each with its own photos, would show which offer brings bookings. The monthly report would compare cost per booking with the average bill, so the owners could decide whether to spend more.

You can remove our partner access to your Meta assets at any time.

Meta advertising questions from London, Ontario businesses

Should a London, Ontario business advertise on Meta or on Google first?

It depends on demand. If people already search for what you offer, such as emergency repairs, search ads usually come first. If customers need to discover you, for example a new restaurant, a clinic offering an unfamiliar treatment or a seasonal promotion, Facebook and Instagram are often a better starting point. Many businesses end up using both.

Why did Meta flag our job posting ad as a special ad category?

Employment ads targeting Canada have to be declared as a special ad category. Meta then removes options such as narrowing by age or gender. The ad can still run, but the wording and images need to do more of the work of attracting suitable applicants.

Who pays Meta for the ads themselves?

You do. Meta charges ad spend directly to the payment method on your own ad account. Our management fee is invoiced separately and estimated from our published rate card.

Can you produce the images and videos for our ads?

Yes. We design static images, carousels and short edited videos. Your own photos of your premises, team and work usually perform better than stock images, so we will often ask you to film short clips on a phone that we then edit.

What happens to the details people submit in our Facebook lead forms?

They are stored in your Meta account and can be downloaded or sent to your inbox or CRM. We make sure the right person at your business receives them quickly, because a lead that waits a day for a reply often goes cold.
